UEMS
For a course or event to receive European accreditation, UEMS-EACCME® must certify that the CME e-learning program or material has met the quality requirements established by UEMS-EACCME®. An CME activity or e-learning material will be accredited by UEMS-EACCME® if it has high quality scientific content, is free from commercial bias and has an appropriate educational approach.
Since the UEMS-EACCME® is a UEMS institution that formally represents European countries, its credits are recognized by the national accreditation authorities in Europe. As UEMS-EACCME® accreditation only covers CME-CPD activities at EU and international level, it is not competitive but rather complementary to the competences and activities of national accreditation authorities.
Additionally, UEMS-EACCME® has mutual recognition agreements with the American Medical Association (AMA) for live events and e-learning materials and with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for live events only.
As part of international accreditation, MCR Conference is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
